What Comes Next? US Fears For New Libya

Americans have waited decades to celebrate the end of Colonel Muammar Gaddafi. 

Like the rest of the world, they have been glued to television pictures of the last moments of a dictator who had become something of a bogeyman in the US.

Widely blamed for being behind the bombing of Pan Am Flight 103 over Lockerbie, labelled a "Mad Dog" by then-president Ronald Reagan ahead of air strikes on Tripoli in the 1980s, Col Gaddafi had been locked in a complex battle with the US for years.   More Read
