A 16-year-old girl has braved 17
nights on the ice, amid whiteouts and 24-hour daylight to become the
youngest person to ski to the South Pole.
Schoolgirl Amelia Hempleman-Adams and her father, adventurer David Hempleman-Adams, reached their destination at 1.30am this morning after skiing 97 miles.
