Lag turns to drag to escape from jail

A LAG turned to DRAG to sneak past prison guards and escape from jail, it was revealed today.

Crafty Ronaldo Silva swapped clothes with his wife during visiting hour to get out of Penedo prison in Brazil.

Silva completed the look by shaving his arms and legs and donned a wig, high heels and bright red lipstick.

But he was rumbled just an hour later when a patrol cop noticed him walking strangely on the street.

Silva, who is awaiting sentencing for drug trafficking, was only transferred to the prison after a previous escape attempt.
