A BOY of eight died in a “tragic accident” after being run over by a reversing 4x4 believed to have been driven by his dad.
Cops believe Charles Kimm was struck as the vehicle pulling trailers reversed through a gate on the family’s farm yesterday.Emergency crews tried to save him but he died at the scene.
The accident happened in Symington, South Lanarkshire, Scotland, at around 3pm.
Neighbours saw a helicopter landing in fields close to the farm house where Charles and his sisters lived with parents Robert, 56, and 41-year-old Suzanne.
Neighbour Yvonne McAllister, 60, said: “It’s so sad. His family must be devastated.
