A MELBOURNE retail tycoon at the centre of a sexual harassment case
involving a former employee has now been charged with indecently
assaulting the woman.
Philip Harry Goodman, the chairman and sole director of Rivers Australia, will face a mention hearing in the Magistrates Court on Wednesday over allegations he fondled the former executive, who cannot be named for legal reasons.
A police spokeswoman confirmed a summons had been served on a 54-year-old Toorak man in relation to an alleged sex assault in Hawthorn in 2009.
The Yarra crime investigation unit is understood to have
investigated allegations that Goodman grabbed the woman's left breast
while she was driving in October 2009. He allegedly said: ''They are
