Security guards at chicken plant

A WINGFIELD poultry firm has hired private security to guard against animal activists after industrial action in Victoria forced 14 truckloads of live birds to be brought to Adelaide for processing. 
 
Up to 30 Animal Liberation SA protesters tried to block trucks as they entered the Baiada Poultry facility on Sunday night, but police quickly ordered them to the side of the road.   More Read
