lightning climb to the top, his mother has likened her son's rapid rise
to ''getting to the top level of a building by the express lifts''.
''He's taken the express lifts, and most of us in our careers take the stairs,'' Maria Cummins said last night.
Achieving in cricket is not the only part of life that Cummins, the second youngest of five children in his family, has succeeded faster than others.
