‘Maniac killed gay lover with hammer’

A FORMER altar boy was accused yesterday of murdering his gay lover with a hammer after wrongly branding him a paedophile.

Christopher Hunnisett, 28, told an off-duty cop in January last year: “I smashed his head in, then tied a rope around his neck,” a court was told.

Peter Bick, 57, was later found bludgeoned to death at his Sussex flat.

There was no evidence he was a paedophile, Lewes Crown Court heard.

Hunnisett, of Hastings, Sussex, had previously served eight years of a life term for the murder of an 81-year-old priest.            More Read
