THE BBC has been blasted for spending licence fee cash on teaching staff to play school games like ROUNDERS.
An estimated £40,000 has gone on transporting employees “back to being a child” on Sports Leadership courses during work time.The Beeb, which faces £1.3billion budget cuts and thousands of job losses, is offering 200 free places on the scheme, run by the British Sports Trust charity.
The Day Certificate in Sports Leadership lasts seven hours and involves sessions in leadership, communication, taking control of a group, safety and adapting games to suit all abilities. Some of the day is spent playing playground games. More Read
