A disembodied foot in a hiking boot that was found last November has been identified as the remains of a man who went missing a quarter century ago after boating on a British Columbia lake.
The boot was discovered floating on Sasamat Lake by a group of young campers.
Coroners discovered the boot contained a sock and the remains of a human foot.
The remains are that of Vancouver resident Stefan Zahorujko, 65, who was presumed dead when he never returned from a solo sailing trop on January 5, 1987. Full Read
