If it's not one thing it's your Mudder Sun team to tackle world's 'toughest' adventure race

RUNNING twelve miles is a test for the Average Joe. 

At just under half a marathon, 12 miles is tough going for most.

Now imagine running that distance with brutal obstacles roughly every half mile, a total of 26 power-sapping challenges.

Some require you to crawl through ditches of stinging nettles, others submerge you in plunge pools of icy water.

Each one is devised by former British special forces troops.

Not for you? Fair dos, but if it sounds like your thing you need to sign up for Tough Mudder - a brand new adventure race being billed as "the toughest on the planet".
