House of Commons Speaker John Bercow
faces further scrutiny today after it emerged he spent £30,000 of public
money flying business class to overseas conferences in the last two
years.The taxpayer also foot the bill for his staff and controversial wife, Sally Bercow, according to a travel log released under freedom of information laws.
Mr Bercow went on nine trips to destinations such as Kenya, Rome, Greece, India and Canada, mostly at the invitation of other parliamentary speakers. More Read
