Couple 'threatened to sell Coleen Rooney's personal photographs in £5,000 blackmail scam'

Coleen Rooney became the victim of a £5,000 blackmail plot after thieves threatened to sell pictures they found on her stolen mobile phone, a court heard today.

Steven Malcolm, 42,  and Jennifer Green, 25, both from Manchester, are accused of demanding the cash from the Manchester United and England striker Wayne Rooney's wife.


Both defendants, who deny the charges, were arrested after Mrs Rooney's mobile phone went missing while she was at a Black Eyed Peas concert at the MEN Arena in Manchester in May 2010.    Read Full
