British trainee safari guide killed by bite from a black mamba snake he thought had just brushed his hand

A British student training to be a safari guide in South Africa died after being bitten by a black mamba snake.

Nathan Layton, who was 28, was killed after the deadly snake was discovered in a corridor at the wildlife college where he and his girlfriend had embarked on a year long course.

Students and staff had gathered around the young reptile after it was discovered close to a classroom.    Read Here
