DISABLED Para Ben Parkinson epitomised the selfless courage of Britain's servicemen and women yesterday by making a painful 100-yard walk to lay a Remembrance Sunday wreath.
The Lance Bombardier, the most seriously wounded British soldier in Afghanistan to survive, was told he would be bed-ridden for life after losing his legs and breaking his back, hips and ribs in a mine blast in 2006.But yesterday he was determined to pay his respects to the colleagues who have died serving Britain in two world wars and the conflicts since.
