Rebooted Robot Made To Brave Disaster Zones

Honda has unveiled a robot it claims is the most advanced in the world which may one day save lives at disaster sites and other places too dangerous for people to work.  

The updated version of Honda's 2004 Asimo can now open pour drinks, balance on one leg and walk on uneven terrain.

Honda claims that "this robot can be remotely controlled to perform tasks in unstable places which are difficult for people to access".

The all-new Asimo has now advanced from an "automatic machine" to an "autonomous machine" with decision-making capability.   Full Read
