A psychiatric patient who killed a senior nurse who stepped in to
protect a young female colleague thought chiropractors were witch
doctors who could bring people back to life, a court has heard.
Matthew Peter Loughrey is on trial for the stabbing murder of nurse Bob Fenwick at the Bloomfield Hospital in Orange in January this year.
It is alleged that Mr Fenwick, 63, and a junior nurse, Emily Pritchard, 20, were both stabbed while treating Mr Loughrey, 33, at the mental health facility. Read Here
