Fifty dollars buys a future for orphaned baby koala Xena


TWO months ago Xena was discovered by the roadside suffering severe concussion and weighing just 790g. 
 
The seven-month-old koala was fed a special milk formula and has since regained the use of her legs thanks to daily TLC at the Port Macquarie Koala Hospital.

Now weighing 1.9kg, Xena is the face of the hospital's Christmas adoption drive - she won't be released back into the wild until she bulks up to 3.5kg.     Full Read
