A SURVIVOR from the plane that crashed into New York's Hudson River has stunned pals — by becoming a PILOT.
Brave Clay Presley got his wings to combat a fear of flying caused by the terrifying event three years ago.
He was among 155 survivors saved when pilot Chesley "Sully" Sullenberger and co-pilot Jeff Stiles brilliantly landed the seemingly doomed plane in January 2009.A flock of geese had knocked out both engines, but the two men successfully managed to regain control — ditching the aircraft into the water.
