Fallen 4 home Hundreds in salute to heroes


A CROWD paid silent tribute to four fallen heroes as they were repatriated yesterday.

Hundreds of people lined the streets as four hearses carried the men's coffins from RAF Brize Norton.


Lt David Boyce, 25, and L/Cpl Richard Scanlon, 31, of the 1st The Queen's Dragoon Guards, L/Cpl Peter Eustace, 25, of 2nd Battalion The Rifles, and Pte Thomas Lake, 29, of 1st Battalion The Princess of Wales' Royal Regiment, were killed within four days of each other.

They died in three separate bomb blasts earlier this month in Afghanistan's Helmand Province..    More Read
