ENERGY giants Shell and Woodside have snapped up the lion's share of petroleum exploration permits which will see more than $300 million of investment in waters off Western Australia.
Nine new offshore permits from the second round of the 2010 offshore petroleum exploration acreage release were awarded today.
Resources Minister Martin Ferguson said the continued exploration of the areas was required to maintain a robust offshore petroleum industry. Read Here
