I have listened with great interest to the evidence being given by
celebrities and media alike at the Leveson inquiry sparked by the phone
hacking scandal in Britain.
I certainly don't condone the activities of those allegedly involved in phone hacking and since the inquiry began, I have often been contacted by journalists (mostly non-News Corp) asking me if this type of activity goes on in Australia.
My answer is: no, I don't believe so.
I guess I am targeted by the media (and before someone else brings it up) because of the 2005 allegations that Nicole Kidman or her Sydney home was bugged.
The charges against me were dismissed, without foundation, when evidence crucial to either prove or disprove the case against me was found to be missing despite having been logged into police custody. More
