A $140 MILLION deal has been struck for the next stage of work to connect thousands across the state to high-speed internet.
Broadband Minister Stephen Conroy will announce today that NBN Co has reached agreement with Syntheo, a Lend Lease and Service Stream joint venture, for the roll-out in SA and the Northern Territory.
Up to 63,000 homes and businesses in nine locations across the state will be connected to the NBN through the next stage of works, expected to be completed by mid-2012. Locations to be connected include Stirling, Aldinga Beach, Strathalbyn, Yankalilla, Port Augusta, Port Elliot, Modbury, Prospect, Seaford/McLaren Vale. Read Here
