TAILGATERS are the biggest irritant
on Queensland roads followed by those infuriating drivers who speed up
when you go to overtake them.
A survey undertaken by motoring body the RACQ found tailgating was the number one frustration for drivers on Queensland roads in 2011, replacing people who use their mobile phone while at the wheel (now 4th).
Motorists who throw cigarette butts and other rubbish out the window were rated third - up from 15th in 2009, and incorrect use of indicators came in fifth.
