Fire stations close as firefighters across NSW start industrial action

Up to 30 fire stations across the state are shut - with western Sydney hit the hardest - over industrial action taken by firefighters. 
 
While a hearing is being held in the Industrial Relations Commission, some stations such as Mt Druitt only have half crews as bans have been slapped on firefighters.

The dispute is between the Fire Brigade Employees Union and Fire and Rescue NSW which began yesterday.  More
