Terrified boy, 11, frogmarched off bus to waiting police after forgetting his Oyster card due to school fancy dress day

A terrified schoolboy was frogmarched off a packed bus for forgetting his travelcard before a school charity fancy dress day.

Marcus Fadina was reduced to tears when police hauled him off the bus for forgetting his travelcard in Barking, Essex.

And to add insult to injury, the 11-year-old, who forgot the pass when he swapped his school uniform for a fancy dress outfit, was handed an £80 fine.


The schoolboy's mother has since urged Tfl bosses to overturn the harsh punishment, as her son made a simple mistake and was left 'distressed' by the incident.

Marcus said he forgot his Oyster card because he normally keeps it in his school uniform, which he had swapped that day for a Red Nose Day outfit before a Sports Relief fundraiser last month.         Read More
