Head girl, 17, died weighing just six stone after trying to hide four-year battle with anorexia from her parents

A former head girl died after trying to hide the torment of her four-year battle with anorexia from her parents.

Charlotte Seddon, 17, described as 'intelligent, self assured and popular', wrote of her feelings in journals which were discovered only after her death, an inquest heard. 


She died weighing six stone, the hearing was told. Her father Stephen said she'd written of being trapped in a cycle of losing weight, repeated exercise and 'purging herself'.            Full Read
