Working from home has its charms. My home office is quiet (except
when the baby stirs), there's no dress code, I can choose my own music
and I have my own executive washroom. The only downside is that my
building's super — my wife — won't allow cigars.
Five years ago, when I began working from home full time, it took me a couple of months to adjust to the solitude and lack of peer pressure, and I confess I ended up watching a lot of TV.
