Kimberly Zakrzewski, Virginia Dogwalker, Found Not Guilty In Pooper Scooper Trial

FAIRFAX, Va. (Associated Press / The Huffington Post) -- A jury in northern Virginia has found a woman not guilty of violating a pooper scooper law in a well-watched case that highlights growing concern over dog waste left behind in suburban neighborhoods.

Kimberly Zakrzewski was walking her friend's dog, Baxter, in Fairfax County in April when neighbor Virginia Cornell called police claiming the 46-year-old failed to clean up after the Westie-bichon frise mix, The Washington Post reports.   More Read
