Grammy Awards 2026: Sabrina Carpenter and Lady Gaga Win the Red Carpet

The 2026 Grammy Awards brought the biggest names in music to Los Angeles. While the night was about songs and trophies, the fashion stole the show early. The red carpet at the Crypto.com Arena turned into a high-fashion runway. Leading the pack were Sabrina Carpenter, Lady Gaga, Zara Larsson, and Kelsea Ballerini. These stars did more than just show up; they made statements that fans will talk about for years.

Sabrina Carpenter: The Boho Angel

Sabrina Carpenter has had a massive year. For the 68th Annual Grammys, she stepped away from her usual "Old Hollywood" style. Instead, she chose an ethereal, "naked" dress designed by Valentino. The off-white gown featured intricate floral patterns made of pearls, beads, and sequins.

What made her look truly special was a sheer, shawl-like cape that sparkled under the camera flashes. Many fans noted that she looked like a "70s bride." Her signature blonde hair was styled in a soft, loose updo that framed her face perfectly. As a nominee for six awards, including Album of the Year for Man's Best Friend, Sabrina looked every bit like a winner before the show even started.

Lady Gaga: The Raven Queen

You can always count on Lady Gaga for drama. This year, she did not disappoint. She arrived in a custom creation by Matières Fécales. The gown was covered from top to bottom in raven-black feathers. It featured a sharp, sculptural collar and a long, sweeping train that took up plenty of space on the carpet.

To complete the "dark swan" look, Gaga wore her hair in an icy platinum blonde "Medieval" updo. She also sported bleached eyebrows, which added to her avant-garde vibe. Gaga was one of the most nominated artists of the night, with seven nods for her work on Mayhem and her hit song "Abracadabra." Her outfit was bold, artistic, and 100% Gaga.

Zara Larsson: Sparkles and Style

Zara Larsson brought a fun, youthful energy to the red carpet. Known for her love of Y2K fashion, she stayed true to her roots in a custom look by Germanier. Her outfit was a masterclass in textures, featuring heavy beadwork and vibrant details that caught every light.

Zara is never afraid to take risks with color and shape. Her look combined pop-star glamour with high-fashion edge. She was nominated for Best Dance Pop Recording for "Midnight Sun," and her outfit reflected that upbeat, electronic energy. She proved that you can be playful and sophisticated at the same time.

Kelsea Ballerini: Patterned Perfection

Country star Kelsea Ballerini used her fashion to tell a story. She wore a stunning custom gown by Etro. The dress featured a complex, shimmering design of bronze, gold, and emerald sequins. Kelsea explained that the "patterned" look was a direct nod to her nominated album, Patterns.

The form-fitting halter dress was paired with Sabyasachi jewelry, giving her a regal yet modern look. Kelsea has a talent for mixing country charm with red-carpet elegance. By matching her dress to her musical themes, she created one of the most thoughtful looks of the night.

Other Highlights from the Night

The 2026 Grammys were full of other fashion wins as well:

Rosé: The Blackpink star broke her usual trend of wearing black and white by appearing in a soft, blush-pink Giambattista Valli couture gown.

Bad Bunny: He made waves in a black velvet suit by Schiaparelli, which featured a surprising open-back design.

Billie Eilish: Staying true to her unique style, Billie arrived in a look that was both comfortable and high-concept, celebrating her nominations for "Wildflower."

Why Fashion Matters at the Grammys

The Grammys are unique because they allow for more creativity than the Oscars or the Golden Globes. Musicians use the red carpet to express their personalities and the "era" of their current music. Whether it was Sabrina Carpenter's boho-chic Valentino or Lady Gaga's feathered masterpiece, the clothes told a story of where music is heading in 2026.

As the stars moved from the carpet into the arena, it was clear that this year was about being bold. The 2026 Grammy Awards will be remembered for the historic wins and the legendary performances, but these fashion moments have already earned their place in the history books.
