Epstein’s Will Exposed: Pedophile Left $50 Million and "Marriage" Ring to Girlfriend

The dark secrets of Jeffrey Epstein continue to surface years after his death. In a massive new release of over three million documents by the U.S. Department of Justice, the public is getting a look at the pedophile’s final wishes. The files reveal a secret will signed just two days before he died in his jail cell in 2019.

The documents show that Epstein intended to leave a massive fortune, rare jewelry, and his infamous private islands to a woman described as his longtime girlfriend. These revelations have sparked fresh anger from victims who say the money should have gone to those he harmed.

The "Contemplation of Marriage" Ring

The most shocking detail in the will involves a woman named Karyna Shuliak. Shuliak, a dentist from Belarus, was reportedly in a relationship with Epstein for nearly ten years. According to the files, Epstein wanted to leave her a 33-carat diamond ring.

The ring is described in great detail: it features a large rectangular-cut diamond set in platinum. On the margins of the document, there are handwritten notes in blue ink. One note says the ring was given "in contemplation of marriage." This suggests that even as the law was closing in on him, Epstein was planning a life with Shuliak.

A Fortune in Cash and Diamonds

Epstein did not just want to leave Shuliak jewelry. The will outlines a staggering list of assets he intended for her to inherit:

$50 Million in Cash: A massive payout to ensure her financial future.

A Collection of Loose Diamonds: The files list 48 individual diamonds that were to be given to her.

Luxury Real Estate: The will mentions properties in Paris, Palm Beach, and a high-end townhouse on Manhattan’s Upper East Side.

These assets were part of a total net worth estimated at nearly $580 million at the time of his death. While the will attempted to move this wealth into a private trust, legal battles and victim compensation funds have since drained much of the estate.

Inheriting "Pedo Island"

Perhaps the most disturbing part of the will is the mention of Little Saint James. This private island in the U.S. Virgin Islands became known as "Pedo Island" due to the horrific crimes committed there. Epstein’s will stated that he wanted Shuliak to inherit both Little Saint James and the neighboring Great Saint James island.

He also intended for her to have his massive Zorro Ranch in New Mexico. This property was another site where survivors say they were abused. The idea that Epstein wanted his properties to remain in the hands of his inner circle has fueled theories that he was trying to hide evidence or maintain his legacy of secrecy.

Payouts to the Inner Circle

Shuliak was not the only one named in the file dump. The documents reveal that Epstein had plans for his other associates as well:

Ghislaine Maxwell: Despite her later conviction for sex trafficking, Epstein’s will designated $10 million for her.

Mark Epstein: His brother was also set to receive $10 million.

Darren Indyke and Richard Kahn: His lawyer and accountant were designated to receive $50 million and $25 million respectively for their roles in managing his affairs.

Where is the Money Now?

Fortunately for Epstein's victims, the will did not go exactly as he planned. Because the will was signed so close to his death and while he was facing criminal charges, much of the plan was blocked.

The Epstein Victims' Compensation Program has used hundreds of millions of dollars from the estate to pay out settlements to over 150 survivors. As of 2026, reports suggest that only about $127 million remains in the estate. The private islands have since been sold to a billionaire who plans to turn them into a luxury resort, finally stripping the "Epstein" name from the land.

The Mystery of Karyna Shuliak

Karyna Shuliak has largely remained out of the public eye. Known as "the inspector" by those close to Epstein, she was said to monitor his activities closely. While she was named as a beneficiary, she has not been charged with any crimes.

However, the release of these files ensures that her name will forever be linked to the man who built a global network of abuse. For the survivors, these documents are another reminder of how Epstein tried to use his wealth to protect his secrets even from beyond the grave.
