Who killed my kids? Arson dad weeps for his six children

THE shocked father of six children killed in an arson attack wept tears of despair yesterday as he wondered WHO could have committed such a terrible crime.

Mick Philpott, 54, and wife Mairead offered heart-felt thanks to those who tried to save the kids — as police said petrol was used to start the blaze in Derby.

As the pair were overwhelmed with grief over their six lost children, the nation’s heart went out to them.

The thoughts of millions were voiced by neighbour Julie Stevenson in the wake of an intensely moving press conference given by the despairing couple.

Julie, a mother of three, said: “I couldn’t think of losing one child, let alone six. They will never get over this.”             More Read
