Bird of pray: Peregrine falcon hatches on special nesting platform built on Norwich Cathedral

The views are excellent and it’s a safe place to raise the family. There’s also a great deal of food around – in the form of fat city pigeons.

In fact, this nesting platform high on the steeple of Norwich Cathedral is designed to be the ideal spot for peregrine falcons to raise their young.

And this week the charity behind the project was rewarded when a pair of chicks hatched – the first to do so in Norwich for 200 years.        More Read
