Uproar as residents are forced 14 miles to pick up letters because Royal Mail bans deliveries... because of a single broken paving stone

Royal mail have halted deliveries to a housing estate, forcing residents to make a 14 round trip to collect their mail, because a postman tripped on the pavement. 


Hundreds of people in Penkridge, Staffs, have been left without deliveries for four weeks after four streets were declared a dangerous no-go zone for postmen. 


They now are forced to drive to the nearest Royal Mail depot seven miles away in Stafford to pick up vital letters and parcels.        Full Read
