A mother whose life descended into
alcoholism was finally shamed into sobriety after seeing a photo of
herself passed out clutching a vodka bottle - taken by her 15-year-old
daughter.Samm Veever, 45, was slowly drinking herself to death consuming a litre of vodka a day in addition to gallons of cheap cider and beer as she embarked on marathon binges that could last over a week at a time.
