CHARITIES could face losing up to £1billion under George Osborne’s plans to cap tax relief.
The Chancellor wants to limit tax relief to £50,000, or 25 per cent of a person’s income, from next year in a bid to stop the super-rich from using donations to cut their tax bills.Now more than 900 charities have supported the Give It Back, George campaign and there are calls for a U-turn by a growing number of Tory Party members.
