One Direction fever moves Down Under

ONE Direction’s world domination continues – with Aussie fans getting hysterical before they even set foot in the country.

Crowds of teenage fans gathered in Sydney yesterday for the opening of a mechandise store in the city centre.

And many of the overwrought girls, who clutched banners and flowers, wept and screamed as they picked up posters of their idols.

The British boyband, who have taken America by storm in recent weeks, don’t land in the Australian city until next week.

But the anticipation is already at fever pitch, with extra cops and private security being drafted in to deal with crazed fans.        More Read
