Fourth Arrest Over Body Found In Waste Bin

A fourth person has been arrested on suspicion of murder following the discovery of a body in a waste bin on an industrial site in Southampton.

The 31-year-old man was arrested shortly after 10pm on Sunday night by detectives in Southampton.
Two men, aged 28 and 25, and a woman, aged 20, detained earlier on Sunday remain in custody at police stations across Hampshire. They are all from Southampton.

The unidentified body was found by firefighters after they were called to a blaze in a bin at the Empress Road industrial estate just after 3am.

Police said they were still appealing for information, particularly from anyone who may have witnessed suspicious activity in or around the industrial estate, off Thomas Lewis Way, overnight.

Detective Inspector Simon Baker, who is leading the murder hunt, said police are examining the possibility that the killing too place elsewhere.          Read Here
