Drink driver's miracle escape as wooden post spears through windscreen on driver's side

A drink driver who crashed his car had a lucky escape after a 6ft wooden post speared his windscreen.

The post grazed driver David McCann's head and snapped the driver's head rest.

McCann, 32, then abandoned his silver Mercedes and began to walk back to his home on Macclesfield Road in Prestbury.       Full Read
