Ann Widdecombe takes part in dress rehearsal as she prepares for her Opera House debut (thankfully, it's a non-singing role)

She is the first to admit she can't sing, dance or act.

Nonetheless, following her successful stint in panto over Christmas, Ann Widdecombe will tomorrow make her debut at the Royal Opera House.

The former Tory MP will play La Duchesse de Crackentrop in Donizetti's comic opera La Fille Du Regiment.          Read More
