Pet food advert is mutt-see TV

VIEWING figures will go through the woof tonight — with a telly commercial only DOGS can hear. 

The pet food ad being shown for the first time features noises at frequencies too high for human ears.

In tests mutts stopped whatever they were doing to stare at the screen and often ran right up to it barking.
