Treasures of the Titanic for sale, 100 years on

A HAIRPIN and a 17-ton chunk of hull are among 5,000 items from the Titanic to go on sale.

They will be auctioned on April 11 — four days before the centenary of the famous ship's sinking.

The collection, valued at £122million in 2007, includes a diamond ring, a bronze cherub from the staircase and the ship's telegraph — all found 2½ miles below the North Atlantic.    Read Here
