A top City lawyer lied to police that
he had been kidnapped so he could escape a drink-driving charge after
crashing his car, a court heard.
Wealthy Francis Bridgeman, 43, is accused of spinning a bizarre web of lies so detectives would believe an armed gang attacked him on his way home from work and stole his grey Range Rover Sport.
