A psychedelic gecko, a self-cloning
lizard and a monkey with an Elvis hairdo are among more than 200 new
species discovered in the Great Mekong region in the last year.
The wildlife diversity in the area, which covers Cambodia, Laos, Burma, China, Thailand and Vietnam, is so astonishing that a new species is found every two days.
