Prayers for Jo a year from murder

PRAYERS will be said today for tragic Joanna Yeates on the anniversary of her murder.

It was a year ago when landscape architect Jo, 25, was killed by her twisted neighbour Vincent Tabak.

Eight days later, on Christmas Day, her strangled body was found on a snowy verge three miles from her Bristol home.

To remember Jo, the local church will be open to allow people to pray and reflect. Visitors can also light a candle in her memory and write in a condolence card that will be sent to her family.

Rev Paul Langham, from Christ Church Clifton, said the offer was for "anybody in the community or anybody else who'd like to come in and be quiet, perhaps light a candle in Jo's memory.      More Read
