Papua New Guinea's
highest authority has reinstated as prime minister veteran leader Sir
Michael Somare, one of two men claiming to hold the post.
His rival, Peter O'Neill, is still refusing to accept the decision.
The political crisis flared when Sir Michael returned from Singapore after recovering from serious illness.
During Sir Michael's absence, Mr O'Neill had been installed as prime minister.
But this week the country's supreme court ruled the takeover illegal, and the governor-general has now backed that decision. Read Here
