Hunt for sick burglars who killed woman's 10-week-old kitten in microwave 'because her home had nothing worth taking'

Spiteful burglars killed a 10-week-old kitten in a microwave after apparently finding nothing worth taking during a break-in. 

The cat, called Adele after its  owner's favourite singer, was cooked to death during the raid in Nuneaton, Warwickshire.
Her owner, aged in her 40s returned home to find the door ajar and the property ransacked.

However, she didn't discover what had happened to her pet until some time later.

The owner's 72-year-old mother said: 'She is absolutely distraught - she has fallen apart and cannot stop crying.

'It has made me ill as well because I just keep thinking about that lovely little kitten with its beautiful little face.     Read Full
