Fare dodgers stabbed ticket inspector in the back


A TICKET inspector was stabbed in the back after challenging two fare-dodging teenagers on a train.

The man, 42, was taken to hospital and needed stitches after the attack just before 9pm yesterday.

He was set upon at East Tilbury station in Essex while working on the 8.20pm service from Southend Victoria to Fenchurch Street in London.

Cops are searching for two white 18-year-olds. One wore a black hooded top and the other was dressed in a grey flat cap and grey top.      More Read
