A TEN-year-old was among children charged with drugs crimes in the last two years, stark figures reveal.
The youngster was one of 10,550 under-17s charged across the UK.A shocking 74 of them were aged 12 or under and 332 were just 13.
Simon Antrobus, head of the drugs charity Addaction, called for more action to prevent children becoming addicts.
He said: "We have to ask why children this young are using drugs. In our experience, it is the most vulnerable.
"Many grow up in families where mum or dad has a drug or alcohol problem. It makes it far more likely they will try drugs and booze themselves." Full Read
