AN engineer dangles more than 500ft above London as he removes the last satellite dish from the capital's BT Tower.
The man is part of a team of four who spent around three hours detaching the final of 29 antennas that were once used to beam most telly shows around the country.The dishes weighing nearly half a ton have been defunct for years following the introduction of fibre optic technology at the tower.
Onlookers watched from below as the workers used a crane stationed on the 31st floor to lower the satellite dish on to a landing platform on the 28th floor. More Read
